The Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium (2003)

It's been a while since I've posted. Believe it or not, I may have found the greatest artist of all time... Even out of everything I've posted, nothing has piqued my interest as much as.. THIS...

Yes, I love ALL of the Mars Volta albums. There is not a single song by them I do not enjoy listening to, except for Tourniquette Man... which is just a little too slow and uneventful for my taste--seeing as how it's the Mars Volta we're speaking of. But it's an excellent transition song.

I would post all the albums, but I think this one and Amputechture are the greatest. Let's not omit Frances the mute. Or the Bedlam in Goliath.
Tremulant is too short of an album sadly, but the songs are great. Octahedron was nice, but I liked the others more. Scab Dates is freakin awesome. The Missing Chromosome was just that, a missing chunk.

Overall, I believe the Mars Volta are revolutionizing music, for bloody baron's Sake, why does the world not accept them as the greatest? It's something that boggles my mind every minute of every day... Surely, the vocals may be a bit wild, the sounds may be insane.. but can nobody see just how much potential this is bringing to music? If everyone else thought like them, music would be a lot more interesting... Not necessarily the same sound or genre at all, but definitely more appealing to all senses.

Ok, so a lot of you have been playing WoW for a long time and have been paying for it.. Well it's time to change that. IF you know french. ;) Well yes, I have ben playing WoW for quite a while for FREE! And that's because I went and took French in High School and now I can play the game however long I want for free. Well this is the site to download it from if you can understand it:

You have to make a free account using a real email and then on the left there's a little thing that says login, and you login with your new username and password you just created... Then you look again on the left after you login and you find the word "Télécharger" and you click on that then download all the files and install the thing.. Make sure you follow the instructions (again in french) and then you can play FOR FREE!!! Haha! :D Sure it takes a long ass time to download (appx. 6 hours) but it's worth it.

Buckethead - Decoding The Tomb of The Bansheebot (2007)

Well Buckethead is an AMAZING guitarist, the best I've ever heard. He even beats Pink Floyd, even though they're my favorite band. And this album is probably his best, besides maybe Giant Robot. This is a more standard or formal album since most of his other stuff is really wild and can go from really soft to insane in the span of a few seconds... This is really nice for people who aren't too fond of really soft nor really hard rock. Great album by a great composer!

Fun Lovin' Criminals - Come Find Yourself (1996)

Look these guys up and you'll think they're just a bunch of people rapping along like regular gangsters and boring little "fuckmotherfuckshitdudesonofabitch" etc. But really, they're a sort of acoustic hip-hop like group, their "rapping" is more like singing, and I must say, I detest rap music, but this album is gold to me!

King Crimson - Lizard (1970)

This album contains my second favorite song of all time, "Lizard", which is comprised of almost every genre of music compacted into 23 minutes. Most of the songs are about adventure, and if you are a fan of AD&D, you will really enjoy them. This is definitely a CD for you to try out, and I'm positive it will be worth your time.

R.E.M. - Automatic For the People (1992)

R.E.M. has a wide variety of music, and this album is soft and melodic, beautiful acoustic guitar and organs and tons of other instruments are bouncing around in your ears, while the marvelous singer's lyrics cut a fine edge through your mind. So amazing and so wonderful to listen to while in a mood to relax, or when you're depressed. Sit back with a cup of tea and a good visualizer or book and kick back for 45 minutes.

King Crimson - Lark's Tongue in Aspic (1973)

King Crimson is just so powerful, but it's saddening how few people know about or listen to their music! Robert Fripp is an excellent guitarist, making up his own scales and stunning solos. After hearing this album, my love for Progressive Rock was intensified by at least 100%.

Guns N' Roses are so good, an incredible album, the Slash takes guitar playing to a new level with perfectly executed solos and riffs. The famous "Sweet Child of Mine" is probably the best song they've written.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Pronounced (Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd) (1973)

The classic song "Freebird" is Lynyrd Skynyrd's signature song, everybody in the sixty's and seventies were covering this song and playing it all over the place. One of the best solos of all time is on this album, and shame on you if you don't already have this CD. A definite must-have.

Buckethead and a few other people, such as Serj Tankian from System of a Down, get together and play the craziest songs possible. Buckethead loves lyrics involving death, chickens, robots, and buckets. His guitar playing skills are so incredible, what with his solos and perfect handling.
